{"id":316,"date":"2026-10-12T17:08:20","date_gmt":"2026-10-13T00:08:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/atastefordrink.com\/blogs\/?p=316"},"modified":"2026-10-20T09:31:19","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T16:31:19","slug":"tastes-of-terror-october-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/atastefordrink.com\/blogs\/2026\/10\/12\/tastes-of-terror-october-14\/","title":{"rendered":"Tastes of Terror &#8211; October 14"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">October 14: Beast&#8217;s Breakfast<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In appearance this drink is reminiscent of an inverted Tequila Sunrise with bubbles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Taste profile<\/strong>: sweet with a hint of sour and astringent<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 parts rum<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 part orange juice, not from concentrate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 part unsweetened pineapple juice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 part ginger ale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc part cranberry juice concentrate (or grenadine)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In your trusty shaker filled with ice, mix rum, orange juice and pineapple juice and shake as if trying to wake the dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour this mixture into your glass until it is 2\/3 full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fill the remainder of the glass with ginger ale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drizzle with the cranberry juice concentrate (or grenadine) to provide a diffusing blood effect.
