When mixed in front of them, it\u2019s a fun surprise to see orange and grape sodas transform into an inky black drink. You may need to experiment with different brands as some sodas, while clearly purple and orange, create more of a muddy color than black.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trick to this drink is that the orange and grape sodas MUST be orange and purple, not just flavored appropriately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Taste profile<\/strong>: sweet<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 part rum<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd part whiskey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 parts orange soda \u2013 it must be orange colored and flavored<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 parts grape soda &#8211; it must be purple colored<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Build the drink in your glass over ice.
