{"id":303,"date":"2026-10-07T17:23:33","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T00:23:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/atastefordrink.com\/blogs\/?p=303"},"modified":"2026-10-20T09:32:28","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T16:32:28","slug":"tastes-of-terror-october-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/atastefordrink.com\/blogs\/2026\/10\/07\/tastes-of-terror-october-10\/","title":{"rendered":"Tastes of Terror &#8211; October 10"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">October 10: Floating Ghost<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is basically an Ice Cream Float for those of us who prefer liquor instead of straight soda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Taste profile<\/strong>: sweet with the slightest hint of bitter from the coffee liqueur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 part dark rum<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 part coffee liqueur<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 part seltzer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tbsp vanilla ice cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use a glass that has a bit more size than the volume of liquid to allow for the displacement of liquid when you add ice cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place the alcohols into a glass and stir. Add the seltzer to give it a bit of life.
