Even if you never get the brain to look right, it\u2019s still a fun drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Taste profile<\/strong>: sweet with just a touch of sour in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 part clear liquor (usually a schnapps)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc teaspoon lime juice per part clear liquor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 part Irish cream<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 or 2 dashes of grenadine around the brain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place the clear liquor and juice in a shaker with ice and shake until very cold. Strain into a rocks glass. Add the grenadine and allow it to sink to the bottom like blood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are two ways to make the brain. The lazy man\u2019s way is to gently layer it on top of the liquor and then hit it the center with another dash of grenadine. The more traditional, and slightly more time consuming way is to draw the Irish cream up into a straw and insert it gently into the middle of the clear liquid to form a floating brain.
